html icons still no where to be founs, and how does one re-install IE 6 on XP

Hi all.

I tried the remedies that people told m about the icons
that go along side HTML documents but my computer still
doesn't locate these icons.
SO one if the suggesttions was to "repair and reinstall
IE6"

Only thing is that stupid xp (which seems to be the most
unstable windows operating system ever) won't give me an
option to do so...help me please.this is frustrating and
disheartneing.

Go to Google and put in the search term "favicons". You'll get over
15,000 links that will tell you everything you need to know about these
special icons. You don't need to fix your IE. Just do a little reading.
