HTML Emal background image won't display

Hi,

I'm using Outlook 2002 and have XP Pro. I have an html email with a
background image that does not display when put into Outlook. The image
displays if I send it from hotmail and another email service I use, but not
Outlook. The image is not embedded and it has an absolute path. Any
suggestions?

It could be that Outlook itself is blocking the image from being sent,
received or displayed.. Check in the security settings of the Tools/Options
Tab.
