HTML Editor not showing corect modified date.

I have started to have problems in not getting amended html files to show
the correct modified date.
The amended data is saved in the files but the files continue to show the
previous modified date.
The HTML editor I use is Coffee Cup Editor 2006, with which the problem did
not occur until recently, but trying First Page 2006 also fails to show the
correct modified date.
Something, obviously on my system Windows XP Pro SP2 with all critical
updates todate, is preventing the modified date to appear.
Can anyone suggest what could be causing the problem?

Hi Bill

I have exactly the same problem with XMLSpy Home Edition - only since
installing last Tuesday's set of patches. I posted a message about this
yesterday, although nobody has replied yet :-(

So what do XMLSpy and Coffee Cup Editor have in common (that other editors
do not)?

Hi Bill

Update for Windows XP (KB911280) installed on my system on June 28 fixed the
problem. Can't see anything in the KB article to explain why - but then I
can't see anything in the updates of a fortnight ago that should have
affected these editors in the first place.
