HTML -> ASCII

Hi, I was wondering whether there is a way to automatically convert any HTML
e-mail to an ASCII one? I simply hate those HTML e-mails (especially when
having to reply to them, as it involves some reformatting), not to mention
that some companies use that format to include pictures, etc.

all standard mail in plain text

Thanks a lot, I had definitely overlooked that option!

Having said that, I am now wondering whether there wouldn't be a way to
enable that option only for a certain category of e-mails I receive (namely:
from people who are not in my contacts). I had a quick look at the rules,
and that doesn't seem possible... unless I once again overlooked something
or that it can be done in a different way?

It should be possible with some VBA. Check with the developers in the
outlook.program_vba newsgroup

Nope. When the option is enabled to read all mail in plain text, HTML
messages can be converted back to HTML on a per message basis using the
options on the infobar menu.
