I have a customer using "HTC Acvantage X7500". Installation of .NET
compact framework fails.

I have the following .NET compact frameworks to choose from on my
desktop computer:

CompactFramework
- 2.0
- v2.0
- WindowsCE
- wce400
- armv4
- wce500
- armv4i
- mipsii
- mipsiv
- sh4
- x86

Which framework should I mail to the customer using "HTC Acvantage
X7500"?

Thanks, that worked.

One more question:
What is the differense between NETCFv2.wce5.armv4i.cab and
NETCFv2.wm.armv4i.cab ?

Windows Mobile and Windows CE are completly diferrent
operating systems for mobile devices. All HTC devices which
I saw has Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0.
Probably you should install NETCFv2.wm.armv4i.cab on this
device.

One is for Windows Mobile, the other for generic CE. The actual differences
are likely minimal - my guess is that the WM versions are signed and nothing
else.

Windows Mobile *uses* Windows CE as an operating system, so to say they are
completely different is completely false. It's like saying a rose isn't a
flower.

Windows Mobile is a platform built on Windows CE, however there are many
Windows CE platforms that are not Windows Mobile.
