I may have a bad power on switch. The printer does not turn on. Power to the
printer is k. Is there a procedure written that tells how to remove the
covers to get at the switch?

covers to get at the switch?

Remove the right hand side cover (plastic latches at top rear and under
flap at top front).

The swiutch is inside the power supply unit (flat metal box, bottom
rear) coupled to the switch button by thin metal rod running front to
rear. Unhook the rod and remove the obvious screws to remove the PSU.
Check fuses first (if applicable in your country, check the fuse in the
power plug that goes into the wall socket).
