Hi,

I have an old Hewlett Packard 520 Deskjet printer that is still in
generally good working order (despite it's age!). However very recently the
printer has been squeaking and not pulling in the paper as well as it used
to.

Should I consider replacing the rollers inside the printer or can I apply a
solition to get the rubber to stick to the paper again? Can anybody suggest
a subtance I could safely use without doing permenant damage to the printer?

Thanks.

You can try to clean the rollers with Isopropyl Alcohol, this will do no harm
to the printer.
I doubt you will be able to get hold of the rollers for a printer of this age.
