HP PSC 1400 ALL in One - document stuck in print cue

Hi,

A friend has the annoying problem that a document in the print cue can neither
be deleted nor printed. It stays where it is, and new documents cannot be
printed either. I assume it is an error in the notebook to which the printer is
attached. Up to recently the printer behaved normally.

My question is: what can he do to remove the offending document - so where can
that printer cue be found? The OS is XP home.

PS,
the only solution appeared to be: un-installing and installing the printer.
Now everything is OK.
