I recently got a D1341 HP printer. It will not work with my Vista laptop,
even though it says Vista certified. The CD will not be compatible because
the OS is Vista. The printer will not print. Sometimes it gets stuck and
sometimes it says "Paper Jam". What do I do?

I just checked HP's site and the drivers for Vista are there,
You will just have to go to the HP site and D/L them.

What driver are you using to print? Either you have installed a driver or
not. If not you would never get a paper jam, because you would not be able
to send a print job without a driver installed. If you have somehow
installed the XP driver please uninstall it and download the Vista driver
from:

If you have already installed a proper Vista driver and are having problems
with paper jams and the printer becoming "stuck" then it is not likely to be
a driver issue. See

for troubleshooting tips.

What do you mean "The CD will not be compatible because
the OS is Vista"

Also, getting stuck and jamming has nothing to do with the operating
system or any software.

Your post frankly makes no sense. However, one thing you could try is
downloading the latest drivers from the HP web site and installing them,
without using the CD that came with the printer. The CD is likely much
older than the latest drivers on the HP web site.
