Hello.............I've HP laserjet 4si printer.hav network.....hv a Ip
address 192.168.08
everything working fine except it didn't print at all.
and there no message..........i can ping.........
can any body help me....it's installed on win2000 server

maybe the port is wrong - as far as i know, older hp
laserjet-printers with network interface doesn't recognize
TCP9100 (standard-port for w2k-printing). install the unix-
printing-services (is delivered with w2k-setupcd) an use a
standard LPR-Port (tcp515)instead of the spm.

The Windows 2000 Standard TCP/IP port support both the Port 9100 and LPR/LPD
protocols. You don't need to install Print Services for Unix to send print
via lpr.
