hp photosmart printer 7150 series

my printer was jammed, cartrige frozen, problem resolved,
now problem with printer connection to computr, will not
print. tried "System Restore" but it will not give me a date.

First run a scan of the PC... Start, Run (type) sfc /scannow (enter)

Disconnect the printer from the PC and reboot.

Then uninstall the printer and then reinstall it.
