can't share printer

HP 7150 Photosmart printer works for administrative user
but not for other users with limited accounts. Printer
is installed properly and is set as being shared. It
looks like the file goes into the print queue and then
just disappears. Have tried reinstalling the printer and
setting up the printer in various ways - so far nothing
works. Any ideas?

I've found that some printers, namely network printers, I
have to install under each user account for them to be
available. Unlike local printers installed under the Admin
account, they are not accessible unless installed under
the user. I'm not sure it doing so would help - it
shouldn't be required.

All of the users are logging on to the computer that has
the printer attached. Where do I go to change
permissions?

Bruce - I tried to follow the link posted and the page is
no longer available. Also, in reply to Robert Pratt,
I've tried installing the printer for each user. The
icon is there, the file goes to the print queue for a few
seconds, and then disappears. So apparently, the
computer is sending the command but the printer isn't
picking up on it. The strange thing is that I did get a
test page to print once. I can't duplicate that though.

If you have Windows XP Professional, right click on the Printer, select
Properties, Select the Security tab.

If you have Windows XP Home or have "Simple File Sharing" enabled on Windows
XP Professional, you won't have the Security tab.
