i have a hp photosmart 3210 all-in-one setup for use on my network. i just
started having issues with it. on my main PC its setup via USB, but on all
my other PCs its connected to them through the network. its setup as a UPnP
device. when i originally got it, it appeared to all the PCs properly
through the network and appeared in "my network places". now its not
appearing in "my network places" or anywhere else, yet i can still access it
through IE when i type in its IP address. now i only can only use it via USB
for printing and stuff. does anyone have any ideas to fix this issue so that
i can get it working through the network again?

This may not be relevent;
There was another post that stated HP Tech had found problems being caused
by AOL Total Protection.

i don't even use AOL. i have several PCs on my network. in my main post i
said there was a network switch in my room. well, i removed that because it
just died on me. there are only 6 devices on the network. my desktop, my two
laptops, my mom's laptop, my younger sister's desktop, and my printer. right
now, only my mom's laptop and my printer are connected to the router via
LAN. for some reason only my desktop is detecting my printer as a UPnP
device. the router in my mom's room is also a UPnP device as well. its not
being detected as well by any PC except for my desktop. the UPnP devices
used to be detected just fine a while ago on my notebooks PCs and my mom's
laptop. the windows component setup configuration is configured the same on
all my PCs, yet the UPnP devices only appear on one PC. does anyone have
anyone have any idea of what could be coaing this issue?
