HP PC's not allowing jagex script

I am having difficulty loading some online games including runescape (Jagex)
and MSN. I had no problems with it until about two weeks ago. Now when I
try to load it just goes to a gray screen and does not continue to load

Help is appreciated

First try for online issues is always to :
Clear the IE cache. (IE, tools, Options, Delete Files button, include offline content.)

Another common issue for online games (especially the MSN 'zone') is a corrupt Cookie:

Your ActiveX settings migh need some tinkering. (The "Info' bar should be showing up, in that case)
Information bar - IE, tools menu, popup blocker, blocker settings, see checkbox for information bar

Java VM problems are common for games.
MS Java VM was prohibited by a court decision. If you lack the MS Java, the MS update site will refuse to give you an update for it.
