HP M1005 MFP problem with vista

I have installed HP M1005 MFP on vista ultimate but found out that the driver
is for xp, so i downloaded both drivers file and the full solution file for
Vista from HP site. Uninstalled the printer, rebooted, then installed vista
software, and after several installation and uninstallation atempts i managed
to get vista to install the printer without any errors and to use its copier
and scanner. however the printer doesn't print test page or any other
document or pdf. it shows that it is printing and the printer screen shows it
is printing document but after few minutes the printer screen goes back to
Ready and later the printer properties shows error, then error-print to file.
please help. it has been for 4 days and HP support didn't answer.

Use System Restore to go back to the point BEFORE you installed the
incorrect package on the Vista PC.
