HP Laserjet 6p problem

I try to describe my printer's problem:-

The printout from this printer is fine but the toner powder no longer
stick on to the paper. I can use finger to rub characters/letters away
and make dirt all over the paper.

My question:-

1) Which components of the printer are spoiled and need replacement?
2) How much does those replacement parts cost (estimation)?

TIA.

Fuser unit not heating up.
Possible causes are fuser lamp or power supply (to lamp).
Fuser lamp often controlled by an opto-coupler and triac.
Parts cost for lamp (just bought one) mines a 500W
quartz halogen, under 10USD, opto-coupler and triac
the same. So parts cost not high.
These are the possible parts that commonly fail but it
could be something else, such as a vane opto-coupler,
or one of many other possible components.
So parts cheap, diagnosis, dismantling, time and know how
expensive. First step is to see if the fuser assy is easy
to remove, they commonly are, if so any cheap continuity
meter will check the fuser lamp.
