HP K550 DTN and Word 97

I Just received the new HP K550DTN and every time I go to Print
something (file->print) in word '97, word exits out without printing
and without an error message. HOWEVER when i press the print button
(or CTRL+P) it prints just fine... I have done everything short of
reformat/reload of the operating system. Any ideas would be helpful.

This is normally caused by corrupt of poorly written print drivers. What is
happening is some UI component of the driver is loaded by the application
when selecting file, print which accesses invalid memory or frees memory
that it should not touch and kills the application.

Can you open the Printing Defaults setting on the advanced tab of the
printer properties (I would expect the explorer process to throw and error
at this point).
