HP Deskjet 692C running xp pro

Hello out there...
Just loaded windows xp... printer will not print
removed all printers and reloaded from scratch,,, still
can not print... keep getting a out of paper message..
any suggestions?

Check the HP support site to determine whether that printer is supported
under XP and/or whether XP-compatible drivers are available.
 
The latest drivers for the HP Deskjet 69x are on the Windows XP CD (ie there
are no updated drivers from HP)
