Which Operating system are you running?

Are you using the most recent appropriate driver for the printer?

I'm sorry to be delayed in my reply, as I know you are in a bind, but I
only check me email and the groups once or twice a day, usually very
early in the morning.

Unfortunately, I have more questions to try to troubleshoot this, and it
will take time to try to narrow this down.

If I understand correctly, when printing via several internet browsers,
it either prints correctly, or sometimes drops sentences or paragraphs.

With Notepad and Microsoft Word 2003 nothing prints.

So, questions:

Does it print correctly with any print program?

Do you even use print preview to see if the formatting appears correct
prior to printing, and if so how doe sit look relative to the actual output?

Did it ever print correctly from any applications, and was this problem
a recent change from previous conditions?

Are you attempting to print in color or black and white, text or text
and diagrams/photos...

When you say it doesn't print anything with Notepad and Word 2003, what
does that mean?

Does the printer attempt to print, but the page is blank? Does the page
eject from the printer blank, or does the software appear just not to
transmit to the printer, and the data appears not to be getting from the
computer to the printer?

If you check your printer device drivers on the computer, does the
computer show that the HP 1460 is properly installed and the default
printer? Do you have adequate extra hard drive space on your C: drive
(how much space is on that drive)?
