need some new ones..and I'd like to try one of the services I've read
about. Where you can mail in your old cartridges, they will refill and
mail back. I used to refill my own with my little Canon 210 ..but too
scared to try that yet with my new printer.
Has anyone used a service I mentioned ? I would welcome any and all
comments ? didn't I read about one that pays the postage ?
I need these for my HP psc 2210
HP InkJet 57 (tri color)
HP InkJet 56 (Black)
many,many thanks

I've used Atlantic Inkjet for both refill materials and refurbed
carts. (I use #57 & #56.) I don't think they will 'refill' your
carts. Why would you bother? Their service is excellent and after two
years I can attest to the quality of their ink and the refurb carts.
They ship to both the U.S. & Canada.

thanks .. went ahead and ordered from atlanticinkjet ..(#56&#57)
...thanks..and I'm wondering ..how hard is it to refill these cartridges
? I didn't have any problems with the simple Canon 210 .. and I can see
how one could refill an HP #56, black, but how hard would a tricolor #57
be ? just curious ..
thanks

You'll get good instructions in the Atlantic Inkjet kit. It is just a
matter of exercising care & control and don't fill too fast! And make
sure you wear the supplied gloves; that ink is a bitch to get off your
hands.

Go for it!

I've been refilling HP cartridges for several years now, both B&W and
color and it's a no-brainer after the first one.

I simply lay the morning paper (that's the only reason I buy the local
rag) on my desk and have at it. A roll of paper towels is really
handy, too. Have some torn off the roll and ready to pick up.

The only trouble I've had with the HP color carts is waiting too long
to refill them. It seems that, if the computer tells you they're low,
refill right away...not next week. Running a cart dry (or near dry, I
think,) burns out the little resistive elements that boil the ink or
some such thing. Then it becomes an instant paperweight.

I find that keeping a log of refill dates and the amount injected into
each color port helps me track upcoming fills.

My current carts in a 932C are on their fifth fill. I use that li'l
printer for proofing portraits and for printing small-size prints that
I sell.

I do 30-50 person portrait shoots at some local organizations. The
prints from that li'l HP have been posted on bulletin boards for up to
two years with no significant fading or color shifts.

It's a great way to go!

Picking up the thread,
my HP 722C (served me faithfully for 6 years), suddenly stopped printing
ALL the colors. Replaced the black and 1823c color cartidges-BOTH; still
same problem
Went thru alignment, cleaning, priming, etc. to no avail. Any help ??
cheers-Herb.

I must be missing something. I went to Atlantic Inkjet's web site and
cannot find the HP 5510 printer or the ink (56/57). I've just purchased a
5510 without ink (probably a big mistake) and need the cartridges. The
refill kit also sounds like a good idea although I have never refilled ink
cartridges before.

Any help finding the cartridges on the Atlantic Inkjet's website will be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Bill

Please disregard the above. I found the cartridges. They are just not
available in all categories.

I apologize for any inconvenience,
Bill

Not sure what to tell you; I find the site easy to browse and quite
self-explanatory.
