I'm not sure I'm posting this message in the correct forum.
For the first time I had to set up a computer running vista and I'm having a
hard time trying to have my printer and my internet connection to work at the
same time.

My printer: HP PSC 2500
My internet connection: netgear wg111v2.

If I want to print something I have to turn of netgear
If I want to get my emails I have to turn off netgear.

When they are both connected one or the other won't work.

Is this normal ? Is there a way to fix this problem ?

You might check with HP. When I installed Vista I found out that neither my
HP flatbed scanner nor my all-in-one worked with Vista. To compound the
problem, the HP Director software doesn't work with Vista either. HP can
tell you whether your hardware is compatible.

Are you trying to print etc over the wireless connection?

Have a look at:

You may want to get it working over a wired connection first and then get the
wireless connection working -- note that you may not be able to scan over a
network; I don't know about this but I gather it may be so.
