HP 570 (all-in-one) on XP Pro

Attempts to install on new XP system unsuccessful. When I
try touse the original HP CD the system will not start
the setup.exe file, in fact attemts to 'run' the file
prodice no action at all.

Using the generic "Office Jet" driver from Windows XP
driver files lets me print in B/W only (no color) and the
help screens from HP and Windows do not provide anything
that seems to work. Has anyone else encountered this
problem? What suggestions does anyone have to solve this
problem?
 
Yes!! I have an officejet 5110 all-in-one. See my
question posted today 5:55 PST
