How would I seperate and mark duplicate entries in a column?

I have worksheets that sometimes contain duplicate information that needs to
be removed. I usually use a formula to mark the duplicate information in a
sorted worksheet ( IF(A1=A2,"XX",""), but if I try to sort by the column
containing this formula, the mark is lost. On very long worksheets it would
help to get the extra information at the bottom.

It sounds like you are working with MS Excel not Ms Access.

Sorry this is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try a
newsgroup devoted to the program you are using. You should find people
better able to address your problem there than here.
