How would I secure this folder?

This folder has contents already.
Here are the requests.

1) All users need read access to all files
2) Group "Docs Admin" needs full access to all files
3) Users can create and modify/delete their own files only not other
files.

I did this.

I set the everyone to view only
I set the docs admin group to full controll.
That portion works fine. But I cant creat files a user. So I added the
creator owner and put full control but that allows any user to all
files and undoes the above requests.. How do I properly set this
security?

Try going into the advanced permissions for that group and apply it to
"files only" or This folder and file only"

I've never used the Creator/Owner group for folder permissions. That
assume the creator has write access first. Otherwise how can you be
the creator of a file if you don't have write access in that folder?

you might be better of creating two folders under your shares root.
One for sharing files for read only, the 2nd for users to have their
own subfolders. Then each user could have full control to their own
files and others could read them but not delete them.
