How to use the EWF component?

I make a image with EWF(EWF disk),after FBA and reboot serval times,use
ewfmgr c:,the state is enable.Then i create a folder name AA,reboot,why the
folder AA is still at? how to use EWF to protect my c partition?

If i use the command ewfmgr c: -disable,then it will go back to the last
commit state.
