How to use an image as a background for a Text Box

Hello All:

A BIG THANKS goes out to all the Access MVPs and everyone else here who
helps out.

I was wondering if it's possible to use an image (.gif, .bmp, .jpg,
whatever) as a background for a text box... I've tried sizing them the same,
and occupying the same space, then making the text box transparent, but that
did not work. I looked for something where you can say "This is in front of
that" on the form, but could not locate.

Any ideas or is this even possible?

Thanks

Hi Joe,

In playing around with this, I have had success using an Image and Unbound
Object Frame controls, but so far, no luck using a Bound Object Frame. In
form design view, I set the Backstyle for the textbox to Transparent. Then, I
selected the Image (or Bound Object Frame) followed by clicking on the menu
item:

Format > Send to Back

I believe this Format menu item is the "This is in front of that" that you
are remembering.
