how to use a restore cd

how do i use my restore cd. (if someone says put the cd in ill kill them). i have a e machines restore cd ver 1.2
 
After what you already know(Put in the CD), and reboot, press any key when
it tells you to (if CD is listed in BIOS as first boot selection) (Delete,
F1, depending on mfgr)...Back up any pics or data you want to save.
