Hi
I have a 120 gb hard drive total and 30 gb of the drive is partitioned.
Everything that I have on the drive is on the 30gb side and is starting to
fill up. What is the proper way to use a drive like this?

Hi Bob,

I guess the question is, what do you want to do with
the remaining 90GB's. Is the 90GB's set as Free Space?
Is the 30GB partition NTFS or Fat32?

So presumably the remainder is as yet unused. Control Panel - Admin
Tools - Computer Management, select Disk Management and look lower right
for the graphic of the drive. R-click in Unallocated space and Create a
partition - which will get a separate drive letter and you can open it
in My Computer for use.

That would be quite a reasonable split of a drive of this size; you
might want to move your My Documents and similar folders across.
