How to upgrade Display Card?

I will acquire a new display card soon. Pls advise the steps in changing the
card.
I am using XP SP2. Thanks
 
A new display card is a hardware issue and has nothing to do with Windows
(software).

Ask the folks that made the computer and/or read the manual that came with
the system or the motherboard.
 
With old card running in xp,open device mgr.,scroll to display adapters,expand
the tree,R.click on the current card,select uninstall,close out,if software
from
card is in add/remove,then remove,after,shutdown computer,power-off,install
new card.
