Now that I'm using MSN Messenger, I have to uninstall
(or Add/Remove Programs) NetMeeting. Can't find an uninstall for it.
I can delete it from Program Files, but there's probably more.
Please advise.

Go to Start > Run and type: RunDll32advpack.dll,LaunchINFSectionC:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove
and hit enter.

Remove NetMeeting
Start > Run > and then copy and paste the following line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

If your XP installation directory is C:\WINNT rather than C:\Windows, use
the following line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\WINNT\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove

You have to? It's possible to keep both.

I don't know that I have to, Sharon, but

A. It may be that NetMeeting is standing in the way of
MSN Messenger working, and

B. I can put it back, and

C. I have no known use for it, if the modern supported MSN
Messenger works.

Thanks.

No problem, Bill. Just thought you might like to know that the two programs
can coexist peacefully and there is no need to remove it. You can certainly
remove it if you want to.

The method for doing so is a bit of a hack that I personally choose to
avoid. Especially for such a small program. But that's just my opinion and
not really relevant.
