How to unblock an application?

Hello everyone, I've just finished installed Service Pack 2 on my pc, and it somehow block a few of the applications which I want to run. Does anybody know how to unblock applications

Usually it asks, on a per-case basis. If not...

Control Panel|WINDOWS FIREWALL|EXCEPTIONS tab
