How to Avoid Windows Security Alert??

Hi,

I have created a windows forms application, where i am using a C dll
for network communication. When i install the application and run it
for the first time, i get a Windows Security Alert which says that

Name: <application name>
Publisher: Unknown

Keep Blocking Unblock Ask me Later

Windows firewall has blocked this program from accepting connections
from the internet or a network. If you recognize the program or trust
the publisher, you can unblock it. When should i unblock a program?

Any ideas how can i avoid this security alert?
