How to UN-check greyed-out "First Row Contains Column Headings" box ?
Hi. Can anyone help with this beginner's question?
I want to import a very simple Excel sheet (2007) into Access (2007).
The Excel sheet has 2 columns. It has NO "column headings"--just data.
Column A = text
Column B = numbers
When I use the Access import wizard, the "First Row Contains Column
Headings" field is CHECKED and *GREYED-OUT* (so I can not un-check it).
When I try to finish the wizard, it rejects all the records "due to key
violations".
I think this is probably because it is assume Column A is "Column Headings".
So . . . how can I tell the wizard to UN-check the "First Row Contains
Column Headings" field??
