how to turn on my desktop

i cant see my dekstop items only if i open my desktop in a folder how can i enable my desktop

Your desktop is not contained "in a folder". Your desktop is the thing that
you see when no applications are running and is what other items are "in".

Can you be more specific as to what trouble you are having?

Right click on Desktop --> Arrange Icons By --> Show Desktop Icons

That should do.

You probably have web-items on your desktop. Remove them by doing this
Call the roll-menu of your desktop by right-clicking on it and click 'properties' to open View Settings. Otherwise open it through the Configuration Screen. Go to the Desktop page/tab and click the 'Desktop items' button at the bottom. Go to the 'Website' page/tab and remove every 'v' at 'Web pages'.
