When i try to do a mail merge from any PC/laptop using a word document in my
office as text and then an excel file for the contacts, an alert comes up
saying that a program is trying to send an email from my outlook 2003, we
then need to keep on pressing ‘yes’ for each email. As you understand, when
the mail merge is 1000 contacts, this is very time consuming. I believe it’s
something with security settings, how can i remove that?

This prompt shouldn't pop-up for that when using pure Office applications
and merging to HTML message format. An often cause why it still does this is
by having certain addins installed in Word like the Adobe PDF plugin.
Disable those addins and try again.

You can also try using this free addin;

Or use a mail merge addin like;

Another free option is :

http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/

Which will click the Yes button for you, and won't need any code changes.

I wouldn't want to recommend the Express version as you'll lose all control
about which application you are allowing and which not. In security terms
this will bring you back to the dark ages.

Less secure, yeah; huge hole? Not really. Hackers have better, more
successful methods of spreading their crap these days than through Outlook.

Yup, but when everybody was to install Express-ClickYes than they would
happily move back in targeting Outlook :-D

You really have to remember to shut it off when done and only have it
running when you actually need it.
