I repeatedly go to Tools>Options>Spelling and deselect "Always check before
sending" message, but everytime I boot up, the spell check is activated
again. How do I get the autospell check to turn off for good when I send
messages? I work with email customer service and my responses are
pre-written. I do not need spell check and this slows me down when responding
to hundreds of emails. It is annoying to have to go in and change the
settings every time I boot up.Thank you!

Sounds like you are using Word as your email editor. If so, in your message
window, go to Tools-->Options-->Spelling and grammar tab and uncheck, Check
spelling as you type.

No, I'm sorry. I tried this and re-booted. Spell check came up when I tried
sending a message. Thanks for the try though.

Any chance your user profile is created new every time you log on? For
example, if you change any setting, is it retained?

Yes, actually I have been having problems saving other settings as well. What
do you recommend?

Talk with your network administrator. It could be the case that they
automatically reset your profile when you log in. Maybe you can convince
them to change the default profile to switch spell check off by default?

Thank you Patrick, you have been very helpful.

Can you provide a little more information on your solution? I'm having the
same problem, but we're not on a Windows Network nor do we have Exchange.

Which profile are you referring to?

Thanks
