Hi, I have a logo that I am trying to insert onto a Word document. I hvae
tried putting it in as a Header, doing a simple copy and paste and using
Insert-Picture-From File option but the image itself will not transfer. All I
get on my Word doc is the name of the image.jpg as text - but no picture.
Please can someone help me!
Thanks, Tara

Hi tara,

Are you referring to the printed output or what you see on the screen? If
the former, you may just need to go to Tools / Options / Print Tab and
UNCHECK the box that says "Draft Output"

If the latter then I don't know the answer - sorry!

In Word, go to the Tools menu and then to Options.
In the VIEW tab, uncheck the box for "use picture place holder".
Then the graphics will show.

Hi Jim

Thanks for the idea. Sadly it doesn't work and when I print i get a big
black square. Draft Options was already unchecked. Anyone else have a
suggestion? It should be so simple to do this, shouldn't it?

Hi Tara, Where is this jpg file stored now? I hope it is on your computer
and not on a website. As a test try inserting the jpg down in the body of
the document. Does it work there? If not, the jpg may be corrupted. John B.
