How to transfer email, contacts from other hard drive to new hard.

I set up a new pc recently, adding my old hard drive as a backup to the new
one. How do I transfer my old emails and contacts from the old hard drive to
the new one? I did not export or transfer any of the files on the original
hard drive to any other format or place.
