How to tell if a user is logged in to a remote machine?

I want to be able to determine if a certain remote machine (Windows XP) has
anyone logged onto to it via Remote Desktop.

Is this possible?
How?

I dont mind if its extremely technical, I just need a way to do this

Well you can check if somebody is logged on now by the Task Manager
under the Users tab. And you can turn off Remote Desktop too under
Control Panel -> System -> Remote (tab). And under Events, I am not
sure... might log who has logged on this computer.

Try psloggedon.exe from www.sysinternals.com.
