how to synchronize with PDA

I have Outlook 2003 and XP Pro on my desk top and XPHome on my lap top. I
have tried to hotsync two different Palms (Tungste E and M130) to Outlook on
each computer and it goes through the motions for each of the modules and, in
the end, does not transfer the data from one to the other even though the
dialog box says I have successfully concluded a hotsync. I have Outlook
Express on a different lap top (identical to the first) and I just installed
a new PDA without problem.

Anybody have a solution. Neither Palm nor Microsoft sites offer any relief.

This is a Palm Hotsync issue (or Chapura Pocketmirror, or Pumatech
Intellisync), not an Outlook one.

I expect you are right. I am able to sync both units with Outlook Express.
v.6.0. Presumably there is some incompatibility between the Palm software
and Outlook, both 2002 and 2003. It may also be in the "set up" (right click
hotsync icon in task bar; click on "custom"; etc.). Proper selection of
sync-ing options is essential. I will experiment with that and advise.

Yes - make sure you have the latest version of Hotsync/Palm Desktop, and the
latest version of whatever sync/conduit software you use to sync Palm to
Outlook.
