How to sync between Windows 2000 & Windows XP computers?

I'm using an iPAQ rx3115 to sync Outlook between work laptop (Windows 2000,
Outlook 2000) to my home laptop (Windows XP, Outlook 2003). Calendar won't
recognize my work email name (Fletcher, Rick (VRXUS)). Using the latest
version of Microsoft activesync. Any ideas how to get Outlook 2003 to
recognize the email name format?

I do this very thing. When you created the second partnership, did you tell
it that is was a second partnership?

I take it from your email name that at work you use Exchange. Do you also
connect to Exchange at home? What I do is use two profiles at home, one for
connecting to Exchange (that I don't sync with my iPAQ, since I already sync
at work) and one that uses a PST. It is with this second one that I sync
the iPAQ, so that I have exactly the same calendar, contacts, tasks, and
notes (I don't sync my Inbox, since I can access that without syncing) both
at home and at work.

Brian,
Thanks for the quick response. Excuse my ignorance, but could you describe
the process of creating the pst file and syncing with my iPAQ. Thanks.

Creating a PST is done in Outlook by clicking File>New>Outlook Data File,
but if you already have Outlook configured, then you already have a PST
define, since it's unusable without a PST in the absence of Exchange.

To sync with the iPAQ, install ActiveSync. Click File>Get Connected and
follow the prompts. Once the partnership has been created, all it takes is
cradling the iPAQ.
