How to switch back to downloading

My friends acctidently hit the box to save the settings
on where you can either save or open the download, and
now it always opens the download and i cant save it
anywhere...does any one know how to get that back?

This is set for each file type.
Depending on your OS...

From Windows Explorer> View> Folder options> File types
OR Tools> Folder options> File types
OR Ctrl Panel> Folder options then File Types. Select [file type]> Advanced.
Put a check by
"Confirm open after download."
You should then get the dialog for each download.
