How to STOP WM from remembering last "To:" addressee

Hi All,
I guess I am getting old and feeble and I am always in such a hurry. Here
is my problem.
My daughter's name starts with an A. We email back and forth all day long
and almost every day.
Yesterday, I sent an email to our tax preparer who's name also begins with
A. I am so used to just hitting the "A" in the "To:" field and it
automatically enters my daughter's email address, but since I sent one
stinkin' email yesterday to someone else who's name begins with "A" now
every time I just hit "A" it brings up my tax prepares name and not my
daughter's! Yesterday there was a bit of an embarrassment because an email
meant for my daughter went to my tax preparer because of this stupid WM
feature. I have sent several emails to my daughter today just to get her
name back to the default and it still remember the tax preparer's email
address first. How do I stop this annoying feature (which I hate even
calling it that). I just know I am going to do another social faux pau if I
don't remember to look out for this.
HELP!

Hi Brink.

I guess I could do that but I don't really want it to stop remembering my
daughter's email address. I like just hitting the "A" and then enter for
the speed but what I want is for it to stop remembering my tax account! LOL
Is there a default number of times I have to send to my daughter's email
address before it will put her on the top of the list or something?
I have sent her 5 email this morning and so far it still defaults to the tax
preparer's email address.

thanks though.

Sending email more than once to the same address will not help.
Instead, you have to send email to each of the 27 addresses you
would like to have on the list, with little control of which one
you'd like to have on top. If your daughter's email address is the
only one that begins with A, though, it will then be the only one
on the list that shows up after you type A, though.

Instead of typing A to send mail click on the To: line name.

Select your daughter from the list, sort the contacts by first name.

Rearrange the tax mans contact to show by anything but the A first.

A couple things that might help you:

1. When you type "A" there should be a list of options, simple click on her
address to complete the TO line.

2. Rather than just typing "A" try typing enough of her address to be
unique. I.E. "An" if her address is (e-mail address removed). This will work
as long as you can type enough to be unique.

3. To temporarily delete a name from the list, try this:
open a new message
type the "A" which should pull up a drop down list of the recent "A"
addresses.
highlight but DON'T select the address that you DON'T want (your tax man's
in this case)
hit the delete key.
your daughter's address should be the only address left (assuming there were
only the 2 addresses to start with)
type your message to your daughter as normal and send it
Next time you send her a message her address should be the only one on the
list.

This will only work until the next time you send a message to your
accountant, at which time that address will show up again, so it isn't fool
proof.
