When I use explorer to clip and paste older eml files into my new computer,
it gives these files the current time and date, rather than leaving the
original date. This wrecks havoc on my backup and synch procedures, so I
desperately need a cure. Only does this when copying and pasting files in
..eml format - does not do it with my other file types, such as pdf. Never
had this problem with Exlporer on my XP machine. In case more facts are
needed: These files were created in Outlook Express, but are saved to a
non-email specific folder in my data drive. Thanks for any help you can
offer!
