how to stop the search the web screen from appearing

Ever since I loaded 6.0 a search the web screen
periodically appears on my screen. There is no way to
close the screen or minimize the screen. I have been
forced to ctrl aLt Del every time this happens. I would
like to know how to close this screen and perferabley know
how to stop it from happening.
