When IE is opened we occasionally get a web page that
fills the screen. It has the appearance of a search
engine, but lacks the control buttons of a normal web page
viewed by IE (no minimize or close buttons).
The only way to get rid of it is CTRL-ALT-DEL and ending
the task. Once this is done IE continues to load. It
does not appear all the time. However, the same search
engine is accessed when the "Search" tab is used on the IE
toolbar.
I have done a superficial search of the Registry to see if
I could find anything suspicious but without any luck.
Any suggestions as to how to repair/get rid of this?
