how to stop the password from automatically being put in?

Hi,
When I goto my banking site the password is automatically put in, how
can I stop this?

Assuming you're using IE6:

- In IE Menu, click on Tools > Internet Options > Content, click
AutoComplete

Here you have two options
A) Untick AutoComplete for Usernames and Passwords
B) Clear Passwords

Leave A ticked if you still want to have your username completed but want to
be asked for saving passwords.Clear Passwords.
This way your usernames should stay but all saved passwords are erased. You
can store them later again for other sites but you might also store your
banking password again by mistake.

Untick A and clear all passwords is the safest method but you also need to
complete your username for each and every other site.
