how to stop the "Internet Optimizer " redirection...

R

Rozs

Hello, all. I've somehow visited a site that has stored
something on my drive because whenever I visit certain
sites that are "https:", IE automatically redirects me to
the Internet Optimizer website. I've read on the web that
this is some kind of spyware program, but I can't for my
life, seem to uninstall/delete this damn thing from my
laptop.

Please anyone advise what to do!!!

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

I have been a victim of this "Internet Optimizer"
these type of companies who forces their products-by hook or by crook--to
people's throats are no better than spamers!
