How to stop Outlook receiving two copies of each email?

We have a pc with Outlook 2003 that just started getting two copies of each
email. Double checked only one email account and the setting were not
changed. Any ideas on how to correct?
 
Disable the AV plug-in that checks incoming and outgoing mail.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, GInglish asked:

Turns out that they had a misconfigured rule set that was causing dupes to be
filed. Went away when we stopped the rule.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
