How to stop multiple POP3 downloads

Hi,

running 2 PC's and a Blackberry. For some reason, I receive 6 or more of
the same e-mails over and over again, on each of these when accessing through
POP3.

I am assuming that the Exchange server and Outlook, each time we do a pop3
check, can't remember that we already downloaded this, and to which device.

Is there a way to have the Exchange 2000 server, remember say, the IP
address that downloaded that pop3 account already and not give it twice,
after say, the blackberry downloads the e-mail, or the other PC?

It's Outlook's respnsibility to remember. Exchange doesn't know about the
POP account. FOr Outlook 2003, see this:

Running Outlook 2000 and Exchange 2000. We understand that Outlook should
remember, but what if it "forgets"?

Running Outlook 2000 and Exhange 2000, but that shouldn't matter I suspect.
Okay, so if Outlook on 2 PC's and the Blackberry, that all access the account
at different times, are all "forgetting", what do you suggest?

There have been several reports indicating that the Blackberry may be
causing your problem.

Try a new mail profile.
